The mission of the Fonds Famille Danny Ng is to carry on Danny Ng’s legacy by driving food security innovation in Montreal. Rooted in the family’s lived experience in the neighbourhood, the fund is committed to supporting sustainable community-based solutions to provide healthy, dignified, and affordable food to Montreal residents, such as Resto Danny.
The fund’s creator, Ricky Ng-Adam, shares its story:
« My father Danny Ng dedicated his life to the restaurant industry, notably as the owner of Park Lane, a popular Sino-Québécois restaurant in Montreal (on Avenue du Parc, then Rue Rosemont). His passion was not so much fine dining as the simple and essential pleasure of eating well and feeding the people around him. Following his passing on November 6, 2025, I wish to transform this family legacy into a lasting resource for the community. »
