Our Team
The Foundation of Greater Montréal has put together a diverse, talented and passionate team to manage its daily operations in the service of the community.

Yacine Bouzid
Yacine Bouzid holds a master's degree in International Law and International Politics from Université de Sherbrooke. He has exclusively worked for nonprofits, both in France and in Canada, where he has gained extensive experience in philanthropy. Among others, he has served as a philanthropic development advisor in Quebec's college network and at Centraide of Greater Montréal.

Lise Charbonneau CPA
Lise Charbonneau has more than 30 years of experience in finance and accounting. Prior to her arrival at FGM, she worked for 15 years at an organization specializing in social reintegration. She then worked to an IT firm. Lise has served on various boards of directors and is a member of the Union des artistes.

Mélanie Cyr
Mélanie Cyr has close to 15 years of experience in administration, particularly in customer service and administrative support. Prior to her arrival at the Foundation, Mélanie worked for bankruptcy trustees, as well as for a financial services firm.

Marion Daul
Marion Daul holds a master's degree in communication and multimedia. She began her career in France, where she worked in various industries as a project manager and as a communications officer. After moving to Québec, she worked mostly for non-profits before joining FGM.

Simon Delorme
After earning his master's degree in political science, Simon L. Delorme worked for the federal public service. He then moved to municipal politics, where he was a liaison officer for three years before joining the FGM team.

Marie-Andrée Farmer
Marie-Andrée Farmer has been working in the field of philanthropy for 15 years, mostly in corporate community support. She also worked as a consultant for nonprofits, notably in strategic planning and fundraising. She holds degrees from UQÀM in business administration and tourism, as well as social responsability for organizations.

Valéry Fienena
Valéry Fienena holds an MBA with a specialization in finance. He has worked in customer service for many businesses, mainly in the financial sector. For many years, he has been actively engaged with a number of organizations.

Catherine Fisette
Catherine Fisette holds a master's and bachelor's degree in political science. After seven years as a political advisor at the Quebec National Assembly, she became Director of Government Relations for a Quebec public affairs firm. She subsequently served as Director of Public Affairs and Communications at various non-profits and social economy organizations.

Sarepta Kalonga-Nyunga
Sarepta Kalonga-Nyunga has many years of experience working in administration and customer service for a number of businesses. Former student at Université de Montréal, she holds a B. Sc. in Communication and Public Relations, as well as a certificate in Philanthropy.

Sofia Laroussi
Sofia holds a Commerce diploma from Concordia University and a master's degree in Social Impact Project Management from Université Paris 1 - Panthéon Sorbonne, in France. She has many years of experience in the promotion of cultural diversity in Montréal's artistic sector, and is particularly interested in the issues of education, civic engagement and citizen participation.

Yolanda Macias Schaffner
Yolanda Macias Schaffner holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Université Laval and a Masters of Advanced Studies in Business Law from Université de Montréal. Prior to joining FGM, she has been self-employed and worked as a public servant at the Court of Québec and Bureau de la grande criminalité et des affaires spéciales of the Directeur des poursuites criminelles et pénales. She has been on the Board of Directors of a low-rent housing complex for seniors for several years.

Karel Mayrand
Karel Mayrand was Director General, Quebec and Atlantic Canada, of the David Suzuki Foundation from 2008 to 2020, and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project for Canada. He is also Vice-President of the Société du Parc Jean-Drapeau. Over the years, he has advised several governments, as well as agencies of the United Nations, in the area of sustainable development. He is the author of Une voix pour la Terre, published in 2012 and co-author of Demain, le Québec, published by Éditions La Presse in 2018.

Samuel Sharetzer Michel
Samuel Sharetzer Michel holds a diploma in Accounting, and intents to pursue his studies in that field. He has worked more than two years as a technician for accounts payable in an engineering firm.

Alexandra Suchecki
Alexandra Suchecki holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and linguistics from Université de Montréal. Before joining the FGM team, she worked for many community organizations, notably in the field of healthcare. She gained experience in fundraising, intervention and project management.

Linda Tchombé, MBA
Linda Tchombé has many years of experience in customer service, administrative support and team leading. She has worked in various fields (including insurance, online commerce and non-profit fundraising) and holds a PhD in Applied Health Sciences, a specialized graduate diploma in Bioinformatics from UQÀM, as well as an MBA from HEC Montréal.

Samenthat Thoby
Samenthat has accumulated more than 3 years of experience in customer service for many businesses. She holds a Diploma of College Studies in Business Management and has studied Administration at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM).

Marion Van Staeyen
Marion Van Staeyen holds a bachelor's degree in social sciences and a master's degree in communications. She has over seven years of experience in cultural communications, acquired at various companies and associations.

Aloun Vongsipraseuth
Aloun Vongsipraseuth holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting sciences from UQÀM. She has more than five years of experience in the fields of accounting and finance with multiple businesses.
