Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) is a rare but cruel neurodegenerative disorder, which deeply impacts the lives of those who suffer from it and their loved ones. After having lost him to this terrible illness, Corey Fazel’s family decided to create a donor-advised fund at FGM to honour his memory and give back to the community who supported him.
The Corey Koorosh Fazel Foundation Fund aims to support those living with MSA and their families, fund research and promote awareness of the illness. Over the years since its creation, it has allowed the distribution of thousands of dollars towards this cause. Thanks to the Fund, Corey Fazel’s name lives on, not only in the hearts of his loved ones, but also through the positive impact of his Foundation.
