The Welcome Collective is an organization whose mission is to mobilize the Montreal community in order to gather immediate human and material support for the most vulnerable asylum seekers in the city: “We aspire to a world of just, inclusive and caring societies, where racism and patriarchy are things of the past and where people can live free of the consequences of colonialism, exploitation and inequality in all its forms.”
To support those who join our community to flee oppression across the world, and in recognition of the invaluable work it accomplishes, the Trottier Family Foundation and the Foundation of Greater Montréal have granted $40,000 to the Welcome Collective in the spring of 2022.
