Giant Steps is a school dedicated to children with autism. During this difficult time, we have heard from our parents who need more academic and psychological support to deal with their current situation. Giant Steps is a private school is a private school recognized and subsidized in the public interest by the Ministère de l’Éducation et de l’Enseignement supérieur (MEES). It relies on the Giant Steps Foundation to contribute more than $700,000 annually to ensure that the programs continue to run. Under the current circumstances, we have been offering daily educational classes as well as weekly therapeutic sessions to our students. We have had positive feedback from the parents, but what they continue to ask for is more support from our team which we cannot afford. Giant Steps is in a unique situation to help people with autism and their families and has been for more than 40 years.
