Desta Black Youth Network

The Black Community Food Security Initiative is a project developed and run by DESTA Black Youth Network, a community organization based in Little Burgundy, Montreal. This project aims to support Montreal’s Anglophone Black community by expanding access to high quality nutritious food through a subsidy and delivery program. The project specifically targets three of the most vulnerable populations in our community: elderly folks, individuals with limited mobility, and single-parent families.
