Our goal is to feed 300 families per week for the remainder of the crisis. Particularly, we want to ensure continuation of the distribution of food goods and medication to the elderly in self-isolation and to help them accomplish essential tasks such as visits to the doctor when necessary. The increase in demand, as well as the conditions of social distancing, require us to invest in a delivery truck, a Ram ProMaster 2017, which is of a value of $30 000. We are asking the Community Foundations of Canada to help us with half of this purchase. This purchase will benefit the community by allowing us to collect a greater amount of supplies and bring them directly to those in need.
