Profiles in Philanthropy:
Isabelle Ménard
For more than 13 years, Isabelle Ménard has pursued her career at TD Bank Group, where she currently holds the position of Senior Vice-President Quebec & Atlantic Commercial Banking District and Commercial National Account (CNA) Quebec.
She has been a member of the Board of Directors, then Chair, of the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation for Quebec from 2013 to 2022. She is also currently a Director at Fondation Le Chaînon.
In 2023, Ms. Ménard became Chair of the Advisory Committee for the Women’s Impact Montreal Collective Fund (WIM Fund) at the Foundation of Greater Montréal. This circle of women donors mobilizes the power of philanthropy to provide financial support to charitable organizations that directly assist women and girls in the metropolitan area. The Fund’s goal is to equip women and girls to overcome the various obstacles that stand in their way, and thus improve their lives.
“I wanted to get involved in the WIM Fund because its mission is close to my heart. It is vital that we support vulnerable girls and women so that they can develop their full potential. We know that not everyone has the same opportunities starting out. By supporting organizations that work to eradicate violence towards individuals who identify as women, facilitate access to employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for women, address mental health issues, especially among young women, and defend the rights of women and girls, the WIM Fund helps them believe in themselves and make their dreams come true.”
