As the summer comes to an end, and before the fall rythmn kicks in, the FGM team shares with you some chosen stories. Through them, we wish to shine a light on people working to strengthen their communities, and raise awareness of the tools that foundations like FGM provide to help them generate an even deeper and more lasting impact.
Below, you will find some of these inspiring stories, which will allow you to put names and faces to values such as passion, resilience, generosity, and commitment. You may already know some of these stories, and others may be new to you. But they all share one thing in common: they began with a simple idea, an observation, a conversation, and above all, a determination to act.
In each of these stories, FGM plays a supporting role. We are here to offer our expertise and resources to help turn ideas into action. It’s what we do, and it’s something we take great pride in every day. But the leading role is yours. The initial spark comes from you, from within all the communities that make up Greater Montréal. It happens when you witness a situation you want to change, and all you need is a little help to bring together the people around you and make a difference.
