Provide a helping hand to young women artists looking to develop their entrepreneurial spirit by lending their talents to key positions such as theatre director and playwright: that was Lorraine Pintal’s goal with the creation of the Fonds Fondation Lorraine Pintal in 2019.
“Given the ever-increasing need for recognition and reach throughout the cultural sector, it has always been my dream to create my own foundation so as to provide a helping hand to young women artists looking to develop their entrepreneurial spirit by lending their talents to key positions in the theatre, namely playwrights and theatre directors. Thanks to the Foundation of Greater Montréal, the Fund came to be. It is now my turn to give back to the artistic community and share all it has taught me about living life to the best of one’s ability.”
