We have identified new, unexpected opportunities since the outbreak of the crisis. We have now transferred all of our core programmings online, and are using various social media platforms to maintain contact with our at-risk youth and deliver our programming. Since we typically delivered programming in-person at schools or at drop-in sessions in our office, and since all curriculum planning and post-session reporting was usually done on office computers – we are now doing everything online and wish to preserve – in a complementary manner to our traditional ‘in-school’ sessions – a robust and meaningful online presence. We also intend to offer more youth mental health promotion in more schools (especially higher-risk schools) as well as in clinical settings, such as the CIUSSS, Douglas, etc. In addition, we believe it is now necessary to explore and implement effective online fundraising tools.
