Campus de la transition écologique

Create and gather the knowledge we need to speed up the transition

As part of its mandate to promote the production of “research, data collection, reports or studies seeking to fill gaps in the sector”, the Collective Fund for Climate and Ecological Transition has provided $80,000 in funding for the development of the research centre at the Campus de la transition écologique.

The Campus is a “new independent organization dedicated to research, experimentation and raising awareness on the challenges of ecological transition”. Located in Parc Jean-Drapeau, it aims to be both a showcase and a centre for innovation, “where tangible solutions to foster ecological transition and resilience are created and implemented”.

With the support of the Collective Fund for Climate and Ecological Transition, the Campus, in partnership with the Chaire de recherche sur la transition écologique at UQÀM, will develop the scientific vision and the major principles of organization and collaboration that will steer its research. This first stage will lead to the deployment of new knowledge in the area of ecological transition, initially on a small scale and eventually in wider application.
