Passionate about humanitarian work, Diane Bertrand started in field community relations in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, between 1988 and 1991 while working for the Société de coopération et de développement international (SOCODEVI) as a project coordinator in West Africa. Back in Canada in 1992, she joined UNICEF where she worked as Director of the Youth Program and Director of Volunteer Resources before joining the founding team of the Foundation of Greater Montréal in 2001.

Samira Boukrouh began her career in Toulouse in 2010, where she practiced for two years in a public organization. After arriving in Montréal and successfully completing her equivalencies for the bachelor’s degree in law (LL. B) to be able to practice in Quebec, she was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 2017. Samira also holds a master’s in business law (2008) and a master’s in international, European and comparative law (2010) from the Université Toulouse I Capitole in France. She is a member of the Committee on Human Rights and Cultural Communities in the profession at the Bar of Québec.

Lise Charbonneau has more than 25 years of experience in the field of Finance and Accounting. In particular, she has been working at Le Portage – An Organization that aims at social reinsertion of those with addictions. She has also been working for 6 years for Versalys Inc, (formerly Québectel-Zenon), an IT and automation company.

Lise Charbonneau has always been involved in community engagement, especially as a Board member of the Fondation de l’école Félix-Leclerc et Altergo. Passionate music lover and opera singer (mezzo), she is a member of the Union des Artistes. Soloist, Lise Charbonneau has been a member of the St. Lambert Choral Society and sang for the The Montreal West-End Operatic Society. She appreciates the Bel Canto.

Diana Chelot obtained her Bachelor degree in management, Accounting major from HEC Montréal in 2016. During her studies, she received numerous distinctions highlighting the excellence of her academic experience.

Before joining the Foundation of Greater Montréal (FGM), she worked for 3 years at Educ’Alcool, an organization which aims at improving Quebeckers’ relations with alcohol. She then acquired more than 5 years’ experience with Deloitte, firstly as a technician for the firm’s Global employer services and later as senior accountant in the Private company services.

Community action being at the center of her values, she is proud to use her skills for the benefit of the FGM.

With over 8 years' experience in banking – more specifically in customer service and team management -, Fabiola wanted to apply her skills in the service of others. “I find it highly stimulating to work within an organization that offers support to local entities that tackle various development issues. Moreover, I share with the Foundation the value of solidarity.” In parallel to her work at the FGM, Fabiola is also pursuing her studies in Accounting at HEC Montréal.

Between 2004 and 2013, Yvan Gauthier was CEO of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ) a major government organization. Under his leadership, the CALQ won the first Prix du rayonnement international for its Studios et résidences program and the third Prix Fonction publique for its Mécénat Placements culture program both awarded by the Institut d’administration publique du Québec in 2010.

Prior to that, Yvan Gauthier had held senior management positions with the Conseil des métiers d'art du Québec, the Regroupement Loisir Québec, and the Ve Biennale internationale des villes d’hiver as part of the 350th anniversary of the City of Montréal. He has also been president of a number of Québec and Canadian organizations and groups. Mr. Gauthier has completed the requirements for a Master’s degree in economic history and holds a Bachelor’s degree in cultural animation from the UQAM.

Tasha Lackman holds three undergraduate degrees: in law (McGill University), social work (McGill University) and environmental studies (University of Waterloo). Over the years, Ms. Lackman has acquired solid experience in the fields of philanthropy, strategic development, and partnerships. She previously served as Associate Director of Strategic Initiatives at McGill University. A business law specialist, she was named Young Bar of Montreal Lawyer of the Year in 2013 and is ranked among Montréal’s Top 20 real estate lawyers. She worked for over 12 years for the law firm Fasken, where she rose to the rank of partner. She also founded and directed the yoga school Childs pose Fertility.

Ms. Lackman has long been involved in the community. She has been or is currently involved with Oxfam-Quebec, Girls Action Foundation, the YMCAs of Quebec, the Montreal Real Estate Foundation for Kids and the MUHC. She was an FGM board member in 2017–2018 and served on the FGM Community Engagement Committee from 2016 to 2018.

Hélène Latreille has more than 25 years of experience in finance, notably in the trust and asset management sectors. During the course of her career, she has held positions that include Senior Advisor, Trust and Investment for respected firms Royal Trust and CIBC Financial Planning; Training Coordinator at Royal Bank Financial Group; and Vice-President at both T.A.L. Private Wealth Limited and Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch.

Long interested in philanthropic initiatives, Hélène has acted as a volunteer advisor for many charitable organizations, including a number of private foundations of her own clients while working in the asset management sector. As a speaker, she has held a number of talks and training sessions on the use of trusts and ways of integrating philanthropy into financial and estate planning. 

Hélène is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), a prestigious international association with more than 17,000 members in 66 countries. She also sits on the executive committee of the association’s Montreal chapter.

Dorothy Massimo has been involved in the field of philanthropy for over 20 years. During this time, she has acquired solid experience in major gifts, annual giving, donor relations and communications, and has served as Director of Development at the National Theatre School of Canada, Dans la rue, and most recently at Tyndale St-Georges Community Centre in Little Burgundy.

Ms. Massimo holds a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, with a major in Art History. She has long been focused on humanitarian and social justice issues, and most recently chaired the fundraising committee of the Native Women’s Shelter of Montreal (NWSM). She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP).

Linda Tchombé has more than seven years of experience in customer service, administrative support and team leading. She has worked in various activity sectors, including online commerce and non-profit fundraising. She started at the FGM in 2016. Linda is also a researcher in Biology by training.

Marion Van Staeyen holds a bachelor’s degree in social sciences and a master’s degree in communications, both earned in France. She has seven years of experience in cultural communications, in both small and large companies and associations in the Quebec book industry. She also had the opportunity to work with children in community centres during her studies.
