We wish to express our gratitude to Alain Giguère and Claude Gauthier for generously contributing their time and expertise in conducting the survey.

This edition of Greater Montreal’s Vital Signs has been made possible thanks to the financial support of the ministère des Affaires municipales et des Régions.

Originally developed by the Toronto Community Foundation in 2001, Vital Signs is now coordinated by Community Foundations of Canada at the national level. In 2008, 16 community foundations are publishing their local report cards simultaneously.  CFC will also publish a national edition of Vital Signs.

WE ALSO WISH TO THANK THE FOLLOWING FOR THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS:

Steering Committee
Marcel Côté, Jacques R. Gagnon, Isabelle Perrault, Kathleen Weil, Colin Bérubé

The mandate of the Advisory Committee is to provide guidance to the Foundation of Greater Montreal in the preparation of Vital Signs, in particular with respect to the choice of indicators and data sources.
