The Fonds Fondation St\u00e9phanie Gauthier supports organizations whose mission is to assist women with intellectual disabilities or mental health issues that offert housing or psychosocial support services. It also supports organizations that, through variouis social or cultural activities, aim for the insclusion and social participation of people with intellectual disabilities in order to break their isolation and develop their social network.<\/p>\n
Its constituents, H\u00e9l\u00e8ne L\u00e9pine and Normand Gauthier, explain their motivation for the creation of the Fonds Fondation St\u00e9phanie Gauthier :<\/p>\n
\u00ab Parents d\u2019une fille handicap\u00e9e intellectuelle et ayant des probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 mentale et d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e en 2011 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 40 ans, nous souhaitons, \u00e0 notre d\u00e9c\u00e8s, l\u00e9guer une partie de notre patrimoine \u00e0 des organismes qui auraient pu lui venir en aide au besoin.
