Mr. McCutcheon, who passed away in 2019, was an exceptional activist, having given four decades of his life to defend the interests, the rights, and most importantly the dignity of LGBT communities.<\/p>\n<p>The Foundation of Greater Montr\u00e9al was honored by his trust when, en 2014, he decided to create the Fonds Laurent McCutcheon fund at FGM. This fund is open to any person or organization wishing to support LGBT communities, most notably in their quest for legal and social equality. It also takes an interest in all issues related to sexual diversity, sexual orientation and gender identity. This cause motivated Mr. McCutcheon throughout his life, and so he wished to create a permanent philanthropic vehicle to support it.
