To do so, it uses the performing arts and the visual arts.<\/p>\n<p>For the third year in a row, and once again <a href=\"https:\/\/www.operademontreal.com\/la-gang-rambrou\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in collaboration with Op\u00e9ra de Montr\u00e9al<\/a>, La Gang \u00e0 Rambrou developed a show. Its aim is to educate the public about disabled individuals and break down prejudices towards them. The production, \u00ab\u00a0Ma sc\u00e8ne pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9e (My favourite scene)\u00a0\u00bb, stars 50 or so artists who are intellectually handicapped or autistic. Together, they act out 10 scenes from television, movies, the opera or the theatre. For the theatre scenes, professional actors pitched in to help. They were chosen based on suggestions from participants in La Gang \u00e0 Rambrou\u2019s theatre group. The production, set for presentation in June 2022, will also celebrate the fruitful collaboration between La Gang \u00e0 Rambrou and the Op\u00e9ra. For its part, the Opera has been providing training workshops for intervenors and artists who are part of the production.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative, which is funded by FGM, has given participants a chance to get a much- needed change of pace\u2026and has offered respite for their parents, too. The project has mobilized everyone in the organization who has been involved in it.
