{"id":1521,"date":"2021-01-02T11:04:53","date_gmt":"2021-01-02T16:04:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fgm.atypicweb.com\/?post_type=temoignage&#038;p=1521"},"modified":"2022-10-06T10:18:00","modified_gmt":"2022-10-06T14:18:00","slug":"green-shield-canada-community-impact-funds","status":"publish","type":"temoignage","link":"https:\/\/fgmtl.org\/copieprod\/notre-impact\/histoires-inspirantes\/green-shield-canada-community-impact-funds\/","title":{"rendered":"Green Shield Canada Community Impact Funds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>En d\u00e9cembre 2020, la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fgmtl.org\">Fondation du Grand Montr\u00e9al<\/a> (FGM) et Green Shield Canada (GSC) ont annonc\u00e9 un partenariat visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s aux soins de sant\u00e9 mentale et bucco-dentaire dans la communaut\u00e9. Pour ce faire, Green Shield Canada a cr\u00e9\u00e9, dans le cadre de son programme d&rsquo;impact social, deux GSC Community Impact Funds \u00e0 la FGM. L\u2019un d\u2019une dur\u00e9e de deux ans, l\u2019autre \u00e0 perp\u00e9tuit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Au cours des deux prochaines ann\u00e9es, ces fonds soutiendront notamment les services communautaires\u00a0de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mcgill.ca\/dentistry\/fr\/patients\/cliniques-communautaires\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Faculty of Dentistry de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 McGill<\/a>, qui offre des soins dentaires aux personnes vuln\u00e9rables, que ce soit \u00e0 des endroits fixes ou par des cliniques mobiles. Plus concr\u00e8tement, la subvention du GSC Community Impact Fund permettra par exemple d\u2019augmenter la capacit\u00e9 des cliniques. Ces derni\u00e8res desservent les personnes neurodiverses, handicap\u00e9es ou vivant avec des maladies chroniques, ou vivant dans des r\u00e9sidences pour personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Afin de r\u00e9pondre aux enjeux de sant\u00e9 mentale des jeunes vuln\u00e9rables, les GSC Community Impact Funds soutiendront \u00e9galement, entre autres, les organismes \u00c0 deux mains et Projet 10.<\/p>\n<h5>Des organismes cl\u00e9s pour soutenir la communaut\u00e9<\/h5>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/headandhands.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00c0 deux mains<\/a> accompagne des jeunes marginalis\u00e9s par une approche inclusive de r\u00e9duction des m\u00e9faits. L\u2019organisme promeut leur bien-\u00eatre physique et mental gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 plusieurs services, notamment des ateliers et des consultations en sant\u00e9 mentale. L&rsquo;accompagnement est guid\u00e9 par les principes de justice r\u00e9paratrice, d&rsquo;anti-oppression et de sensibilit\u00e9 aux impacts multiples des traumatismes.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019organisme <a href=\"https:\/\/headandhands.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Projet 10<\/a>, quant \u00e0 lui, travaille \u00e0 \u00ab\u00a0promouvoir le bien-\u00eatre personnel, social, sexuel et mental des adolescent\u00b7e\u00b7s et des jeunes adultes lesbien\u00b7ne\u00b7s, gais, bisexuel\u00b7le\u00b7s, transgenres, transexuel\u00b7le\u00b7s, bispirituel\u00b7le\u00b7s, intersexes ou en questionnement \u00e2g\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s de 14 \u00e0 25 ans\u00a0\u00bb en leur offrant des services d\u2019\u00e9coute et des activit\u00e9s gratuits, confidentiels et anonymes.<\/p>\n<p>Par cette entente, la FGM rejoint 11 fondations communautaires participant au programme d&rsquo;impact social de GSC \u00e0 travers le Canada.
