Please note that we process withdrawal resolutions at the end of each month. The deadline to send us a resolution, duly signed by your Board of Directors, is the 20th of the current month. You will receive the requested amount around the second week of the following month, on or close to the 15th.<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n <\/div> \n <\/div> \n <\/div>\n

How to draft a resolution for a managed or reserve fund<\/h4>\n

Download the resolution template for a managed or reserve fund (in French)<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

In the managed or reserve fund resolution, you must include the details for the amount the organization is requesting.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. If you wish to withdraw only income<\/strong>, write down the amount to withdraw from this portion, and put $0 for the capital part.<\/li>\n
  2. If you wish to withdraw only capital<\/strong>, write down the amount to withdraw in the capital portion, and put $0 in the income part.<\/li>\n
  3. If you wish to withdraw both income and capital<\/strong>, write down the respective amounts to be withdrawn from each portion of the fund.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If your last block of capital has expired and you wish to withdraw the entire capital and all the income, write down the respective amounts to be withdrawn from each portion and tick the box that says: Demander la fermeture du fonds <\/em>(request fund closure). It will then be closed since you are withdrawing its entire balance.<\/p>\n

    Please note that for managed or reserve funds, organizations can request the withdrawal of the net accumulated income their fund has generated at any time.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    How to draft a resolution for an endowment fund<\/h4>\n

    Download the resolution template for an endowment fund (in French)<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

    In the endowment fund resolution, you must include the details for the distribution the organization is requesting.<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. If you wish to request the distribution of the expired (mature) capital<\/strong>, please indicate the amount to be withdrawn in the resolution.<\/li>\n
    2. If you wish to also request the disbursement of the undistributed net income<\/strong> generated by this capital, please tick the box to that effect.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      If you wish to withdraw the fund’s balance (because the entire capital has expired), please tick the corresponding box. Please note that the fund will then be closed since you have requested the distribution of the entire balance.<\/p>\n
